This one was an easy money spinner for George. It was December, eight days before Christmas in fact, when he got a phone call from an old friend. George had known Danny since they met at college in 1971 and he had done several favours for George over the years. It was Dannys turn to ask this time, he was building a plush holiday village in Tsavo West National Park. All the equipment and tools had been shipped to Tanzanea and then moved by lorry to Tsavo. The last lorry with pipes for getting water to the complex had been "detained" at the border for seven weeks and time was now running out. If the job was finished by the end of the year there was a huge bonus. Danny offered half the bonus to Greoge if he could pull some strings and get the pipes to the site in four days time and allow the work to be completed. It was just a matter of a few phone calls to the right people and hours after Danny had asked the pipes where on their way. Danny had not expected them to arrive in an estate car though, it took ten trips but Georges contact got them all there on time.

George never told anyone how much he was paid but can you find out.
