ZC#16 The Devil and the crossroads Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it, I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Warning! the pump house has an exposed top entrance into the water vault at the moment - fascinating to look into ( to the right of the house up on mound) but a real danger for children!!

Anyone who plays, or has played guitar will likely have heard the tale of Robert Johnson, a blues musician who went to the crossroads one evening to meet with the Devil.
He handed his guitar to Satan, who played two songs and returned it to the musician. In exchange for his soul, Robert Johnson was to become the greatest blues guitarist. Or so the legend goes.
So here, you will also find yourself at the crossroads, or 'crosspaths' at least.
Two things I can tell you:
firstly, that there is a cache here, and in plain view, but is a couple of inches long, (hold on, that's 3 things!) and secondly that you need to go right, past the old waterpump house on the left and towards the woods for the next one, 'ZagCattalog' (if doing as a seriese).
I can also of course tell you where the cache is too, but there is a price attached I'm afraid. Now let me think, what's a fair trade for such a crafty hide? Your soul perhaps?
Dont rush into it ....think on it a bit while looking, I have plenty of time.
