Bob's Bizarre Bazaar Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

StealthRT: I hate to lose a letterbox, but it happens. This one had a three-year plus run and it looks like it is time to let it go. Thanks to all 69 cachers who had logged this cache at the time of archival and the cachers who took the hike to DNF this one. Bob's Bizarre Bazaar is now closed... once again.

As I was told this morning, you could say this one is going away for a lifetime.

Geocache Description:

A letterbox hybrid by StealthRT.

Please do NOT remove the stamp in the cache. The stamp is NOT for trade. The stamp is a requirement for the letterboxing community’s enjoyment.

To get the most enjoyment, ignore the coordinates and just follow the hints below.

Of course, this cache can be completed in the traditional method by navigating directly to the coordinates listed.

Begin your journey at the crossing of Blue Ridge Boulevard and E 129th Street. There you will find soccer fields and parking. Follow the trail between the soccer fields toward the north. Cross the bridge.

At the fork where a meadow can be chosen, choose to go toward the great oak. Continue until a choice of which trail is forced. Here, descend. Continue on the trail. Do not slow when you pass the brick house. When you reach the modern double yellow trail, while it may be tempting, do not take it, but cross it to continue on your way.

Ahead Mr. Bohoca will call out for you to follow, but instead you must seek out cover in the basement. The best basements are always found in the direction of Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Continue until you see a path where there are trees who know not the season. Follow that path. Once you land, you will need 15 paces to locate the tree with five tentacles, guarding the path with the mini-stump in the middle. Ascend at this point to the trail that hosts the great rock dining tables.

Inspect the great tables as you travel north 200 feet. There you will see a fallen tree. As the crow flies you are only 100 feet from your destination, but as the man climbs… The head of the fallen tree will point you in the general direction of another fallen tree. Ascend toward that fallen tree. Near the base of this fallen tree will be a great stump that yearns to be noticed. There you will find the stamp you seek.

Please be sure to carefully replace the camouflage for this letterbox. If you do not, it will surely soon disappear.
