*Original Mission*
In memory of my dad who had a wonderful sense of humor, so much so that his nickname was Jolly Wally. This coin's mission is simply to move from cache to cache gathering humorous stories, jokes, etc. Please post a funny story, anecdote, or joke when you log your find.

Wally's Humor Geocoin

My dad (Wally) died in 2001 of cancer. His incredible sense of humor has been inherited by all of his children (and working its way into the next generation as well). Wally served in the Navy on the USS Shannon during the early 1950's so any Navy related anecdotes and/or pictures would be extra special!

11:00 hrs- Found..In the SUDOKU Cache. It was a quiet day at work and I took an extended lunch... SHHhhhhhhush !(the boss doesn't know). I started the day at 196 and it was bugging me.. I had solved the Sudoku puzzles some time ago but never got around to the location. Today I came. I was kinda dressed up, (work you know) but the path looked pretty tame and straight, so in I went for it. Ultimately however I had to turn into the bush. (In for a penny, in for a pound)... I started looking for the cache. No luck!! I thought I had learned this lesson about a 194 caches ago, but I hadn't. READ THE ENTIRE INSTRUCTION! I wasn't looking for a cache, I was looking for a ##$&*!L Re-direct.. With this in mind I started looking in different places and shortly found the Re-Direct. In the mean time I was picking up bug bits, sweat and doing no end of harm to the dress shoes, pants and shirt! I moved to the re-direct and again went bush. Finally found the cache!! Coordinates were bang on. Logged in... Took Walley's Humour GeoCoin which is a USA Geocoin making it's way around the continent.. They wanted a humourous story or anecdote. I thought I could oblige. I reported back to the office covered in scrapes, mud, bug bites and leaves nestled in my hair. (I think their on to me!) It was a great cache. I love Sodoku's but a couple of these were from the hard category? TFTC The GeoCoin is neat, and I honour the memory and the purpose of the Coin.. I cache with a group called the GeoMob who cache together every Saturday morning after a hearty breakfast. We have lots of fun doing it. Will move it on to an appropriate destination soon.
