Precious

It's MINE! A fellow cacher asked me to place this in a cache far in the forest of solitude. But I want to keep it for my own. Problem is that Mr ICM kept asking me for it. It's had a strange effect on both of us.

I can't do it I can't release the precious on a bunch of unsuspecting geocachers. I have given the bug to a friend to take to the deep dark woods of solitude. Hopefully the next cacher to stumble across the precious will be better equipped than I to deal with it's power or perhaps it will vasnish never to be seen again and never again be able to hurt humanity.

I woke up this morning with a strange feeling that I should go and visit my Travel Bug Resort at Rodman Dam. The closer I got to the cache the stronger the feeling became. As I approached the cache I could hear a strange audible hum. I opened the cache and there was a strange glow buried in the bottom of the can. here was a nice little ring in the bottom of the can. It has been at least 3 days now since I picked up this little ring and my life has been vastly changed since I have. It almost seems as though the ring ha taken control of me somehow. I never seem to want the ring out of my sight. Finally this morning as I went to shower I took it off my neck and my wife grabbed the ring and put it back in an ammo can I had in the truck. For a minute I almost got violent with her. Then she proceeded to tell me of my strange behaviour. How I had refused to talk to any of my caching friends, how I had stayed in my room for 3 days avoiding here and the grandkids. She said she was actually scared of me for the first time in our 25 years of marriage. She finally realized it was all because of the ring. She knew she had to get it away from me before I did something really bad. I am going to a Geocaching event this weekend where hopefully I will have the strength to pass this little ring along and hopefull we can get it out of our area before someone else is taken over by it's power.

When the Precious came into the nearby cache, it started calling out to the Trolls: "Take the Precious, the Precious is yours" The Trolls retrieved it and will be wearing it until we can let it go into another cache. No, No, Not the Precious, Never the Precious..............

I found this TB in Fay Lake Trail today GCK3Q7 (new cache, and I was FTF), so I am assuming that the cache owners must have picked this TB up somewhere in their travels and forgot to log it.
I have a cache that I am doing on 7/30 that should be most appropriate for this bug.
