This travel bug's goal is to travel to the Restful Falls cache in western New York State. (GC4AB1) It is racing against three other travel bugs who are trying to beat it to the finish line, so please be sure to move it along quickly! :-)

About This Item

This is the Gen I Dakota Travel Bug; a participant in the Dakota Mailing List's 10th Anniversary Travel Bug Race. It is racing from Colorado to New York (against three other travel bugs), and is representing the Gen I Dakota - those trucks built from 1987 to 1990.

This particular travel bug is based on "Christine" - DML'er Tom Stack's infamous 1989 Dakota 4x4. (You can check out the actual truck at http://tinyurl.com/naaht)

Note: the tracking number has been printed on the back side of the travel bug itself, just in case it becomes separated from the tag. As such, if you take a picture of this travel bug, please be sure to only take a picture of the front side, and also please be sure that the tracking number on the dog tag is not visible in your photo either. Thanks!

Ahh Christine... it is actually quite fitting that you vanished in Ohio, at a location with a reputation for paranormal activity.

Some day I hope you will be found and make the pilgrimage to NY.
