The hardest part of this one was finding a place to park the car. Found the cache easily. Thanks.

Found easily. It was a drizzly morning, so the tourists, while about; were not out in full force today.

An easy find on a cool drizzly morning. Also found the Tidel Station Benchmark on the spit. I could see the cache from 50 feet away, so I tried to hide it better than I found it.

I was by here last November, but the gates to the park were closed and it was raining. Guess what.... exactly the same thing today. This time it didn't matter, up the beach I go to find me a cache! 🙂

First cache of the day after an overnight stay in Oak Harbor. The coordinates lead me to the opposite corner and side, and the grass was quite wet after last nights rain. I was about to give up before I got soaked.

There was a muggle in the park, or so I thought. His dog came over while I was looking, so he did too and asked me if I was a geocacher. He pointed me to the correct corner and from there I found it easily.

My wife wanted a night out of town, so off we headed to Points unknown. NO GEOCACHING! That was the order I got!

As we passed by this area she claimed she needed a stop to use "the facilities". While she was inside doing her thing, I did mine! Found the cache easily.

An easy lunch time find. I didn't check GPS accuracy, since once I got within about 50 feet the hiding place was fairly obvious

    Thanks

I still had daylight, so I searched my list for another cache around the park to do. This one looked promising and I was not dissapointed. When I arrived the cache owner and two other cachers were just leaving. It was High tide so I pretty much had the place to myself.

Did this one with Phil and Cathy after running into them at a nearby cache.
I was in the park several months ago with my wife indending to do this one, but it was dusk and she wanted to watch the sunset out at the western beach. The northern access was closed at the time anyway, so it would have been a much longer walk.

Left a Borg Cube TB.... yea... I know, wrong Sci-Fi series 🙂

Wow! This is an old cache! It's still in good shape thought!

After AAA got me into my truck after doing the nearby Lighthouse Point cache, I did this one with Belleterre and Bumbling B's. Great location. I've been here several times before BC (Before Caching).
