X   GC Code Cache Name

GC4863 Traditional Cache Between a Rock and a Hard Place
Float from the Steese to the Elliot Highways, bushwhack from Haystack subdivision, or ski the river in winter. No matter how you do it, this is a challenging cache to reach.

GCQAF4 Traditional Cache Big Country
Accessed from Nome Creek Drainage. Beautiful area any time of the year.

GCZZW3 Traditional Cache Clear(y) View
Easy parking and a short walk into the woods to find a cache placed near Cleary Summit. If time permits, continue driving down Fish Creek Road for a view of the Fort Knox Gold Mine.

GCNDY1 Traditional Cache Ditch Niche
A bit of a scramble up a hill to the cache, but worth the visit to a historic location.

GCPFHW Traditional Cache midnight sun cache
Drive to Eagle Summit, admire the views, and imagine the Yukon Quest mushers driving their teams over the summit in white-out conditions.

GCPRX9 Traditional Cache Pedro's Discovery
Location of first gold strike that led to the founding of Fairbanks.

GCE6F2 Traditional Cache Quartz Creek Trail "Caveman Slab" Cache
Long hike or short ATV ride. Well worth the trip!

GCGTXX Traditional Cache Taiga Cascade
Float trip in summer, ski/snowshoe in winter, or wade across during low water times. One of two caches we replaced after the big fires of past summers.
