2/4 for the day. GPSr zeroed out about 15' away in the open so we started looking around. The clues helped us not to touch any rocks and zero in on the right spot. Booger over looked it two times before finding it.

4/4 for the day. I found a T&K...yahoo! I am beginning to put them up there with G&T. Maybe you need to hide more white 5 gallon buckets out in the open more often. I didn't read the cache page before we headed out so I didn't have a can to leave. I will bring two the next time up here. We took the firetruck TB which isn't logged in yet. I will log it out once it is logged in.

Had to come downtown to the court house so I figured I would hit this cache since I still had 35 minutes left on the meter. Looked around but had to go to the hint for the hit. Thanks for showing me this neat little park.

Okay, okay, I guess I will have to settle for TTF (Third To Find :( ) I was too skeptical of going into "the town". Doug fooled me once with his "Sword and Castle" cache where he posted the wrong coords. I went searching through someone's back yard and garden for five minutes and never found the cache. So I was skeptical when I drove up to "the town". So I chickened out and passed up the glory of being FTF. Oh well...my loss. Thanks for the hide.

All of the new caches this week seem to be popping up close to home. I kept looking...hoping one would show-up close to work...and today was the day. Unfortunatly it posted yesterday afternoon allowing GT&T to nab it first. So I headed out during lunch. This is a really beautiful area. I will be back this summer to enjoy the beauty and the cool river. My GPS first had me looking in all of the wrong (but neat) hiding places. Turned the unit back on and it told me to go to a different place. No, no..there are too many good hiding places over here. I look and look...no cache. So I turn it back on and it points over there again. No, no...it has to be over here...I mean, look at all of these nice places to hide a cache. Nothing...I look around and what do I see? Could that be it...no but wait what is this??? BINGO What do you know...my GPS was right the second, third and fourth time after all.

1/6 for the day. Okay..toot my own horn...I am good. I was able to find this cache armed only with a memory of a "Wrong Way" sign. Booger Bear and I were on a round trip journey to Portland today so I wanted to find a few caches along the way. Hatton Coulee Rest Area was #1 on my list. We were late leaving this morning because I was downloading all of the waypoints of the caches into the GPS. Which for some reason didn't work so I didn't have any waypoints loaded. I printed out all of the cache pages but for some reason (?) this one didn't print out. I did remember the picture of the sign and I spotted one so I went looking. I had to wade through a huge sea of tumble weeds but I was successful in finding the cache. TOOT TOOT!!!

2/6 for the day. Kind of hard to "just think like a Goblin" when you don't know how this Goblin thinks. We are in Vancouver for a couple of hours and had to find some caches while we were here. We picked three that were really close before we headed back to Spokane. GPS had me about 20' away but didn't find anything so I started expanding my search and found it. Really cleaver cache container. Booger Bear was walking back to the car and saw some 4-leaf clover. She was in mid sentence of..."wish I could find a four..." when she bent down and found one. Lucky her and me for finding the cache.

3/6 for the day. We are in Vancouver for a couple of hours and had to find some caches while we were here. We picked three that were really close before we headed back to Spokane. GPS pointed in one direction but I spotted a "better hiding spot" in another. I decided not to tick off the GPS so I went it's direction first and...well...found the cache. I hate when it is right. Great camo job!

4/6 for the day. We are in Vancouver for a couple of hours and had to find some caches while we were here. We picked three that were really close before we headed back to Spokane. GPS had me about 20'down the ravene but it was pointing up the hill. Funny thing is the numbers were counting down even though it was pointing behind me. (Insert Twilight Zone music here.) I walked away while Booger Bear decyphered the hint. I walked away and the GPS started pointing and counting right. I started looking here and there and found it. NOTE: The Vancouver way of numbering difficulty is way easier than in Spokane. A 2.5 in Spokane would keep you searching for an hour. Thanks for the hunt.

I am out today picking up travel bugs to take to Georgia. Snagged Coala Bear TB. Very very smart hide. My GPSr pointed out in the water 60' when I walked in but counted down when I walked down the shore line. I even walked out on a tree over the water but then the GPSr pointed behind me. I guess it just wanted to see how far I would go to recover a cache. The top of the cache was exposed so I added more cover. Thanks for the neat hide.

As stated...the 3 star rating is way over rated if you drive up instead of hike... I journeyed up here for two reasons. 1. this was on my list of caches to get 2. to recover the Snapple TB One out of two is not bad. Seems the TB is gone...MIA. I would guess someone grabbed it and didn't log it. I will read down through the logs and see if I can tell who. I also went after another TB and it was MIA as well. I hope this isn't a trend.

Stopped by yesterday after work to grab this one but a couple were cooking dinner nearby so I aborted the mission. I came back this morning on my way to work. Nobody was around at 6:00am. The GPS had me walking around but zeroed in on the spot. Now I understand the alphabet wheather I want to or not. Nice hide. Thanks for the mind teaser this early in the morning.

Visiting family in town for a family reunion over in Dothan Saturday. Of course I had to bring the GPS and find caches along the way. This cache needs to be archived or repaired. The cache container is laying out in the open behind the monument, the top is missing and the container is cracked. I tried to hide it but they are cleaning the area for Monday...might not make it.

FTF!!!! I marked this one as a "had to find". I traveled over 2,100 miles to be the First To Find and I did it....YAHOO!!!!! My GPS zeroed out about 20' away but I didn't find it there so I read the hint (again) and looked over there and found it. I hope the cache container lasts.

3/4 for the day. We are visiting my wifes sister for a family reunion. They brought us here because they thought I would enjoy it...and I did. I didn't know this National POW camp existed or the terrible history of the Confedrate POW camp for the Union soldiers. I would recommend everyone visiting this National Historic Site. I didn't know this virtual existed because I didn't download caches from this area because I didn't know we were coming here. I gathered a bunch of information and pictures to post my own virtual cache here and realized I was to late. Thanks for letting me post a find.

4/4 for the day. We visited the POW Memorial Park and stopped in town for lunch. I too had problems zeroing out on the cache. My brother-in-law had the GPSr and I had the hint...needless to say I found it first. He was 50' away looking for something I already found. I will post pictures once we get back home. In town for a family reunion close by. I was able to sneak away to "buy film" and snag this cache.My GPS zeroed out and there were two BIG trees nearby...first one...no cache...second tree...no cache but a snake. I will post a very neat picture of the snake once I get back home. So I go back to the car to read the cache page again. Walk back, follow the hints...see the cache container from the trail. I walk over to it and check my GPS again and it is pointing back to the first trees...at 582 feet away. ????? Anyway I get to log another find...my first Alabama cache.
