A list of Caches in the Wausau, WIsconsin area that are suitable for parents and young children. All caches are relatively short walks and approachable with a suitable stroller. Cahces are easy enough that young children can help look for them. None are in dangerous areas. None require bushwhacking. They take a short amount of time and don't require special equipment. They're the type of caches a family could occupy themselves with and have a good time basically.

  Parking closeby. Last 50-75 feet rougher terrain but not difficult. Have the big kids look or hoist the little ones.

  A short walk on walking trails in the park. Avoid the piles of "junk" if they're still there. Nothing to do with the cache.

  Easy park and grab. Kids will love the play area at Mc D's

  A puzzle cache for the young mathematician. Find is a park and grab.  

GC15ZV5 Traditional Cache Between a rock and a hard place
  Right off of a paved neighborhood trail. parking along road very close.  

GC1GKYM Traditional Cache Black-Cats in Brokaw 1
  The trail system here is extensive and suitable for foot traffic or bike traffic in the summer, or sleds in the winter. This cache is a short walk from parking and not far off the trail.

  Not far off the trail. Moderate walk from parking.

  A moderate walk from parking. The walk back is all downhill :-)

  About a 10 minute adult walk from parking. Doable by most kids. Cache not too far off the trail and very light brush.  

GCTAHM Traditional Cache Bridge to Nowhere?
  It's a short walk but the terrain is best suited for the older kids.  

GC16N0H Traditional Cache Bridge to Somewhere: GWRPPHT Series
  Easy one for the kids. Park across the highway in the hotel parking lot. Nice trail to walk and keeps you away from traffic. 2 cool red covered pedestrian bridges to look at. Water nearby, just watch your step. Bring bikes and start with this one and do the whole trail. It's a short trail and jam-packed with caches!  

GC1AMR7 Traditional Cache Bridge View Too: GWRPPHT Series
  easy grab. Park at the nearby lot or come through on your bike.  

GC1PMZ5 Traditional Cache Brockmeyer Park
  Pretty much a park and grab. Smaller kids won't be able to retrieve.  

GCRD4W Traditional Cache Bruno the Bluejay
  A short walk on the trails. Strollers can't get real close but it's a short walk.  

GC1Q2GM Traditional Cache Creek Side
  Park is used by the local school and has nice foot trails. Both caches on the bookmark list in this park can easily be reached off the trail. Park on either the south or north end. Parking on the north end will give you better views of the creek and bridges. About the same length of walk from both areas.

  Nice park and grab and easy enough for older kids to find

  Park and grab,  

GC16ZP7 Traditional Cache Dead Ends Hwy 29: Ringle Ave.
  This one is fun with the bigger kids. Small kids would have trouble getting around at Ground Zero.  

GC14ZWJ Traditional Cache Doepke find it?
  Park features an exercise trail that the kids like to check out. Caches are not far off the trail.
