Very interesting to see remnants of the Grey Canal irrigation system built by our pioneers and read about its history. Great views of Swan Lake and some of the Vernon area too. |

Will have to look for this one when we go to the coast. |
You don't usually come across this - interesting setup for the spraying the coal trains. Didn't realize they did this either! Wish we were there when there was a train there. |
Looks like we'll have to use this one in one of our upcoming quading trips. |

Love finding fossils -- will keep this cache in mind. |

One of our favourite caches for interest. Pretending to be geologists, found our own fossils of ferns, branches, leaves, in the cut along the road. Only need a screwdriver to pry apart the rock face. Many on ground as well! The grandchildren (Rugrats) will love these, wish they had been with us! Maybe will have to bring them back next year. Can highly recommend this cache by Okanagan Falls for the experience! |

Not only is it a clever & challenging hide taking us 2 attempts, the nearby train museum is super and well worth a tour! At least go into the building to see the largest fireplace I've ever seen! |

This must have been quite a great mansion! Loved finding the swimming pool and fish pond nearby still all intact complete with rock walls. Interesting how they must of piped the water down to them from the nearby creek. The cache hide was cool too! |

I really loved this hidden and lost garden in the woods. It's quite amazing to see all the work that the "hermit" put into his own project and legacy of his -- and not even on his own land! Must of took years. Very interesting -- one of my favourites! Come in spring from March to May and you'll probably see hundreds/thousands of flowers/bulbs blooming. |

Located in Hedley among the ruins of the Nickle Plate Stamp Mill, I think where they processed/crushed the rock ore to get the gold. |
Lots of history here! Very interesting to see the chinese grave markers. |
Very interesting history here about how they got the logs down the mountain in the old days. |
Not far off the Coq closer to Merritt. Old mine location. |
Interesting history here about the mill near Port Moody on Burrard Inlet. Also great trails to walk. |
This cache is hid in the gold rush ghost town of Granite City near Coalmont. (not far from Princeton on the Tulameen Road. Great location. Still some log cabin ruins standing and the nearby cemetery is also interesting to see. |

This quarry fascinates me! Guess I love rocks! |
Possibly an old homestead. The abandoned log buildings are in good shape. Very picturesque! Saw bluebirds on the way in too! |
