Always check your footing and make sure what you grab on to will hold you there. Kick your footing a couple times to make sure it won't crumble when you step on it. (rock is frail in many areas) Approach cache from the dam area. Don't head up into the bushes, stay along the ridge. Find the best route which you feel comfortable with.

TB Hotel located North of Phoenix, on I-17.This is a travel bug hotel located on Badger Springs Road between the North and South Bound I-17.  There is a convenient pull-off spot.  It's a popcorn canister, so there is plenty of room for the larger sized Travel Bugs.  I've also included a few other items, so if you don't have any TBs, go ahead to swap.
There is a little wash that I ended up jumping, but you may be able to get around it.
There is a barbed wire fence; don't cross it, because it's on the inside of the right-of-way.

Cunning Cache #1 is cleverly concealed in a Cottonwood commerce center located at the intersection of Cottonwood St. & Main/Hwy 89A. Crafty covertness will be required while catching this cache. Be careful of curious consumers of Vinnie's crusty crafts while on your quest.
This cache is placed on private property with owners permission. They will be watching during their slow periods. 



Cunning Cache #1 (The Original)

Located between two places I frequent, this cache contains a log and pencil. You may want to bring your own writing tool and a pair of tweezers might help. Please place as found to maintain the challange.

Cunning Cache #4 (Lion's Club Park)

Fifth in the Cunning Cache series. Less dificult than the others until you add the stealth factor that is required. You will probably look out of place here.
Not much to say about this cache except it is probably the most high profile of the Cunning Caches yet. Please replace as found.
Some of the staff know about the cache but others don't.


Cunning Cache #5 (all'inferno l' segnaleti)

If sevens are lucky, this place should be extra lucky.
You don't have to leave the sidewalk to snag this cache. Property owner has given permission for this cache so long as his landscaping doesn't get trashed. Seventh in a series of urban hides that can be accessed without a 4x4, or even a vehicle for that matter. Cunning caches should be challenging so plan on spending a little time on these.
This is a Micro cache.


Cunning Cache #7 (Look at all the 7's)

On Old 279 Highway off of Highway 260. No bushwacking required. Easy find.
This is a regular cache hidden in a dog bone shaped tin with the usual trade items. 
Although there is a pull off for parking, there are a lot of trucks on this road at times.

This cache is hidden (barely) near the future connection of Monte Tessoro and Willard Streets. Small trade items to start. Enjoy.

View from the top of the Verde Valley and Camp Verde. PArking area is off I-17. A 7/10th mile hike.Terrain is medium steep, on a cow trail on the ridge top. Cache is tan and black ammo can.....Take I-17 Exit 285, turn west. You run out of road pretty quick, so you will know where you are.. There is a locked gate at the parking area which you hike around. The second gate is near the water tanks. 


Parking is at N 34 degrees 33.652' W 111degrees 54.577'
off I-17 exit 285, on the west side of the interstate. It is a good area to hike, bike or horse back ride. Walk around the locked gate at the parking lot, following the road to the water tanks and gate (please close the gate at the tanks). Beyond the tanks on the road follow the trail to the east and then follow your GPS. The cahce is on a hill top, which measured at .7 mile from the parking area.

Pretty much on a beaten path downward. Close to the stop, but hidden to the point where no one should see you take it off. Look up to make sure though and take care replacing or you'll have to hike down and retrieve it.

I-17 Mini #2 - Sunset Point

Take the Bumble Bee exit from I 17.easy hike from Bumble Bee rd.but 4 wheel best for drive or high clearence vechicle o.k.Tricky to turn around.start at N 34.08.617 W112.09.163 and follow g.p.s. to coords 

The reason for the name is it was placed on the fourth of July and we are finally free of the fire that has threatened Black Canyon City.Container is plastic cylinder type with some nice goodies,a log and pencil. Good luck 


Independence Day(hot Dog)

By far, not as complete as one would hope... this list includes a wide area fit for Cachers planning on just passing through. If your adventures will be for a longer stay - look into the other hides in the area as well... What a diverse collection!
