Parker Creek Cascade Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Squarehead: I'm told by a trustworthy source that this is missing...
With today's gasoline prices, its simply too far away to maintain.

Geocache Description:

A pretty spot at the confluence of Parker Creek and the Wishkah River. Bring your camera and a lunch... if the season is right, maybe a swimsuit.

The satellite reception is poor so a detailed description would probably be useful. The main idea is to show you this place.

Drive just over two miles beyond the end of pavement, park near the trailhead coords, and walk around a pile of gravel and a small ditch... the first hundred feet is easy.

Then after you've paused to enjoy the scenery, follow a casual path upstream along the Wishkah. You may have to move small branches aside but it's not a difficult walk. About two hundred feet down the path look for a tall old stump just a few feet off the trail.

You'll be about fifty feet from the end of the trail... Another pretty spot. Go check it out after signing the log but use caution if you go to the waters edge, the ground may be slippery... I wouldn't advise doing this cache at night.

Please drive carefully, that road is kinda narrow.

Be sure to grab these two fine caches along the way...
