com dhíneol (comeenoole)
this is a cache dedicated to the gaelic language. the gaelige (irish) counts about 355,000 speakers. more about the laguage: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_language
"an ghaeltacht" is an sign often seen in kerry. it means irish-speaking region, a region where the predominant language is not english, but irish. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaeltacht
com dhíneol (comeenoole) is a small but spectacular beach. the site was featured in a car tv advert as well as in the movie "ryan's daughter" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan%27s_Daughter). a great place to stop on the "slea head drive". you can see over to slea head from this spot.
this was the western-most geocache on ireland mainland for quite a long time (now it is only 2nd). please post your greatest picture(s) of the site along with your online log.
