How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A TRIBUTE CACHE TO ALL GeoDogs

ALL DOG OR PHOTO REQUESTS ARE NOW OPTIONAL.

YOU ARE REQUESTED TO VISIT THIS CACHE WITH A GEODOG,

EITHER YOUR OWN OR A FRIENDS. YOU ARE REQUESTED TO POST A PICTURE OF YOU WITH THE GEODOG AT THE CACHE SITE OR AT CAROUSEL FARM PARK. IF YOUR GEOCOG COULD NOT BE THERE, PLEASE POST ANY PICTURE OF YOUR GEODOG. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT WILL CAUSE YOU TO SUFFER NO ADVERSE CONSEQUENCES. Just to be clear--that used to mean a real living breathing dog, but clever origional alternate solutions became just as much fun, so they are also be accepted.

Precious (and her master) lives very close and will usually be willing to join any geocacher that is lacking a geodog to take a walk in her favorite park

The cache is located in the woods right next to the Bark Park where dogs are permitted to run free. There is even a lake for swimming that the Labrodor Retrievers seem to really like.

Cache is in heavy wooded area with some jumping signal, so hint is provided.

Goundspeak guidelines have changed, so thanks to everybody who posted pictures to comply with the spirit of this cache which is to basically recognize geodogs.

7-7-09 UPDATE A Frisbee golf course is being added to the park. since the cache would have been in the middle of a fairway, it had to be relocated about 60 feet further uphill
