Now that the FTFs have had their fun and lack of sleep we will now confirm that this puzzle is one on a circuit of seven individual puzzle caches. They are all quite simple one-stage puzzles and the title of each should give you a good idea what the puzzle is about. You can do as many of the puzzles as you wish and the total length of the walk to collect all seven caches is approximately 2 miles.
We suggest you start with Look Pretty then follow the green markers. You will have to leave the green marked track for a few yards to get one cache but we suggest that you return to the junction and continue on the green path for the rest of the caches. All caches are very easy to find – look for the most obvious hiding place and read the clue. If you need more clues to help you solve the puzzles just ask for help.
Suggested parking is at: N51 17.875 W00 10.829. If you still feel like getting more caches when you have finished the circuit then Look South GC16HR0, Look North GCZEGY and Look Up GC16D6V are all quite close by and you can walk to all of them.
When you have finished there is a good pub, The Ramblers Rest, about a quarter of a mile along the road past the railway bridge.
The cache has been placed with the permission of the Estate Ranger and is on a working farm. Please keep dogs on a lead at all times as animals may be grazing at any time of the year. The cache is on a footpath, so no bikes please. The paths can get quite slippery and muddy during wet weather. The container is a small, 200ml, clip top box.
The gps reading was rather variable and will get worse when the trees are in leaf, so the clue should lead you in the right direction.
There is a nice FTF Certificate for the winner.
The cache can be discovered from the following story.
Sam decided that it was such a nice day he would ask his friends to come to a party in the garden. First of all Edward and baby Jamie arrived, and they were soon followed by Henry and Anne with Beattie. Last of all came Genie with Louise. They then all went into the play house and had their cucumber sandwiches.
Please make sure that you work out the puzzle as at the date of publication of the cache as recent events have changed the order.
Now find the cache. Assume N51 and W00
