Stealth extremely important when hunting for this cache. Take a camera, enjoy the sites. Mozzie repellent may be handy after dark. Bring your own writing equipment. Please be sure to return the cache to where it was found to conceal from muggles.
The canecutter memorial was erected by the Italian migrants of Innisfail to commemorate their contribution to the town's sugar industry. The statue was construsted in 1959 and features plaques written in both English and Italian.
The waterfront parkland is a great place to bring the whole family. The are various cairns dedicated to the history of Innisfail. A public wharf, children's playground and pinic facilities are also close by. The whole family can wet a line, or just sit around and enjoy the views of the Johnstone Rivers.
FIRST TO FIND goes to craigsam, who wrote: "Yay! First to find! Found with ease. Were quite a few muggles around. TNLN. TFTC. CS"
Have fun and happy caching.
