I spent some time living in this small town when I first moved
to
the Appleton area. I owe it to the town to honor their fallen
with
a Flags of our Fathers cache.
You'll come to a VFW memorial for Freedom's fallen heros. There
is
a small plaque on the wall for Freedom Post EB9A with a
list
of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice over the course of
C
decades.
C soldiers died in an even numbered year.
D soldiers died at the dawn of a new decade.
H soldiers didn't die in the 60's.
F soldiers died in the 50's.
G soldiers died in the 70's.
