Geocache Description:

Number 11 in a series of 15 caches that contain clues to help solve Scrabble – Summer Holiday Fun (GC1KHY2). They can be done in any order.

Cache is not at the provided co-ordinates. The provided co-ordinates are at the southern end of the park.

Cache is located in Glindemann Park. Conrad and Magdalene Glindemann created Highfield Dairy on a 100 acres of surrounding land which their family operated from 1864 to 1940.

Near the parking spot you should see two playgrounds – one for the pre-schoolers and across the gully one of those climbing pyramids. About 160m south there is a small skate bowl and a couple of permanent skateboards that can be used. Parking is also available in the service road that runs parallel to Logan Road but it can only be entered when heading south along Logan Road at the intersection with Murton Av - about 650m north west of the playgrounds.

From waypoint AB , you should also see 10 square posts scattered around the children’s playgrounds. These hold the answers to the questions posed below. On the posts are quotations about children by various people, some capitalised words in mosaic and a number of red hearts, blue stars, pink flowers, yellow smiley faces, whole fish and half fish and a green eye. Some have fallen off but the shape is quite clear.

The cache is located at S27 31.ABC E 153 04.DEF where

A = The number of blue stars.

B = The difference between the number of letters in the last name of the person attributed with the quotation on the post with the capitalised word SHINE on it and the total number of letters of the name of the people attributed with the quotation on the post with the capitalised word LOVE on it. Then add the number of green eyes.

C = The number of letters in the last name of the person attributed with the quotation on the post with the capitalised word GROW on it minus the number of green eyes

D = How many letters in the quotation on this post with the strawberry shaped heart on top of it.

E = The number of red hearts plus the number of yellow smiley faces.

F = How many letters in the capitalised word on the post with the quotation “never fear spoiling children by making them Happy” – Thomas Bray.

Cache is a 400ml sistema container. Don’t forget to note the clue/s.
