Geocache Description:

THE ABOVE COORDINATES ARE BOGUS! They are, however, within two miles of the physical cache. (They are also within two miles of Laineybug's original listed coordinates AND Laineybug's original physical cache.)

This series was quite the labor of love for Laineybug. She tried to use a wide variety of hides, locations and containers in order to make it as interesting as possible. She named the puppies after cachers in the hopes that it would boost camaraderie and help others get to know each other.

REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLETE THE SERIES AND COLLECT THE PRIZE

1. Successfully log at each cache site and online the first 100 caches in the 101 Dalmatians Series. [As of 4/24/21 there are 28 still active. To qualify for the prize find at least 23.]
2. When you have found the required number of caches send me an email and I will send you the coordinates.

WHAT IS THE PRIZE?

Laineybug had 101 custom geocoins minted just for this series. They are trackable on GC.com. Only those that complete the series will be awarded one of these coins. Only one coin will be given out per qualifying GC.com handle. (And for anyone completing both the old and the new series -- be happy with the extra finds as you already have your coin! ) As of 5/22/23 there are NO coins left. Sorry.

The name of each “puppy” relates to a geocacher. Laineybug requested that if you knew a cacher by that name that you should give them their “props”! Since this cache's name is "Elaine" please tell us some fun things about her, or just hold her in high esteem, or worship her from afar. She definitely deserves it! Hope you have fun with this series! Happy caching! Woof! Woof!

Laineybug decided to retire her Dalmatian series but it was just too much fun to see it end! I asked if I could adopt it but she wanted to keep her geocaching record accurate so I am having to "clone" all of the caches. This is actually a completely different hide with a different canine-connection. The walk to the cache measures about 0.4 miles round-trip and is reasonably flat. There is an interesting view from the cache area. I noticed some debris from the residentially-challenged along the way so please be aware of your surroundings. The original 101st Dalmatian can be found here. My thanks go out to Laineybug for allowing me to resurrect the series!
