This cache is placed in celebration of Mr Freedompass Hunter’s Birthday. It is in Beverley Park near where we have lived for 39 years. The entrances to the Park are in Park View. This area can be very soggy so wellies or stout shoes are recommended after rain. The fence between the park and the brook is often broken so keep an eye on children.
Beverley Brook (named after the beavers who once lived here) is just over 14 miles long and rises in Cuddington Recreation Park in Worcester Park. It flows through Motspur Park and is often hidden behind houses and under suburban streets until it reaches Beverley Park. After this it become more accessible as it flows along the edge of Wimbledon Common, through Richmond Park and eventually joins the Thames to the east of Barnes. The Pyl Brook rises in Sutton and flows through Lower Morden until it joins Beverley Brook at the end of the avenue in the middle of the park. The cache is a small black bison container. There is a logbook but no pencil. Please replace so that it is well hidden .
