Geocache Description:

A series of caches around the area of Thornton Heights following a section of the Bronte Way before looping around through the historic hamlets around the village of Thornton. This can be a circular walk of around 3 miles or the caches can be done individually.

This part of the walk leads along Hilltop to the loop around the historic hamlets of Thornton. The footpath is not clearly marked from Hilltop Road. Access is through the black gate, turning next to the white cottage immediately after the Ring O Bells.

The coordinates for the footpath are N53 47.673 W001 51.912

The cache is a medium sized cliplock box with the usual goodies.

The cache is next to but not in the wall!
