Wanted to call this Path Paradigm Palooza in honor of the
difficulties I had finding
Micro Palooza (GC1J6MW), but I also wanted to put a cache in
this park that I pass frequently.
Persimmon Park has been part of the the Brighton greenspace
initiative since 1994 (according to the sign at N 43 07.808 W 077
35.463). I noticed the sign along Clinton Ave. South and wondered
how one would gain entrace to this park. Once I had a treasured
Palooza in my hands, I decided I needed to find out. Eldridge Rd.
is a deadend, and offers a single parking spot. At the other end is
an apartment complex (Suburban Ct.) with a trailhead and nearby
parking. The palooza is about halfway in between. It's a palooza,
so BYOP! Oh, and there is a FTF prize in it! I love a hollow tree,
and there are many such trees in this park, but they seem to be
"attractions" here, and too high a muggle factor, so I needed to
look elsewhere. See hint if you must. Congrats to MDJL4fun for
acquiring their 3rd FTF among Palooza Seedlings! (And thanks for
giving corrected coords to parking... same typographical error was
on trailhead coords. Apologies to anyone who relied on the old
coords instead of the cache coords to get started.) FTF credits go
to MDJL4fun!
