A pleasant stroll along the Tampa Bypass Canal. The Tampa Bypass Canal Trail is a proposed 14-mile trail from Trout Creek to McKay Bay, running along the Canal which diverts flood waters from the Hillsborough River. At present it is possible to walk or bike only short, 1-2 mile sections of it because of risky road crossings and limited public access points. It is open to the public from sunrise to sunset.
