The Poms'cic' Monkey (Polish for revenge) was originally placed as a revenge cache for an un-named cacher. It consisted of 12 caches spread across two counties with many miles between each cache. Cachers had to travel great distances between most caches and only the most hardcore had the fortitude to complete it. To them we give the greatest nod of monkey respect. Now is a chance to share in the madness with many others. The challenge is complete but the fun goes on.
Poms'cic' monkey #1 is hidden on the UO campus. There is no need to climb into the flower bed to find this cache. It can be reached with your feet flat on the ground. This is the start of the madness. Some of our human and not so human friends were accused of being drunk by security on Thanksgiving night as they looked for this one in the rain and darkness…aah, good times.
