Geocache Description:

What's the green glow on the horizon?

It's the only nuclear reactor in Australia at Lucas Heights.

Don't worry the reactor core is only about the size of a washing machine and uses about 10kg of fuel. So what's all the fuss about?

Anyway, I was feeling lazy when I put this out so it's about as easy as it gets - easy walk, obvious hiding spot. They can't all be hard can they?

The best time to visit is at sunset, or early morning when the sun is glinting off the buildings,

The easiest access is at the end of Kanandah Road, Engadine.
