The number five as shown on dice, dominos and playing cards forms a pattern known as a quincunx. that is five markers layed out in a pattern of four in a square or rectangle and the fifth forms the center mark.
Deriviations of this symbol have been in use since ancient times and they have been found in locations all over the world, something to do with having five fingers and an easy geometrical pattern to remember.
In astrology (and less commonly in astronomy), a quincunx (also known as an inconjunct) is an astrological aspect of five-twelfths of a circle, or 150°, between two objects (the Sun, Moon, planets or signs).
There is also easy access from the highway via a horse trail if you don't feel up to a long walk.
This forms part of my ONLINE series of caches. I use a deriviation of this symbol as an identifier in my written logs, laid out as it has been passed down for different marking purposes through my family. Knowing this symbol will make finding this cache slightly easier but not much. I don't anticipate that this cache will be removed too easily but please carefully replace the lid and keep a lookout for muggles using the track.
There are a few loosening objects nearby in case the lid does get stuck. Please report any issues and note that offensive language in logs will result in them being deleted.
