One of 16 caches placed across the state to help them celebrate their 4th annual reign as Oregon's leading cachers. Find at least 10 of these 16 caches, and you are eligible to find the Best of the West Challenge Cache!

The Trolley Trail is a walking trail within a former Portland Traction Co. streetcar line right-of-way. The streetcar service operated between Portland and Oregon City from 1893 until 1958. Freight service continued until 1968, when rail service was abandoned completely. In December 2001, Metro and the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District purchased the streetcar line right-of-way from the Union Pacific Railroad Co. The right-of-way extends for about six miles, from the Jefferson Street Boat Ramp in Milwaukie to the intersection of S.E. Abernethy and Glen Echo Ave in Gladstone. NCPRD and Clackamas County began the design and engineering for the trail in summer 2006. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2010.

Come for a walk along our own Trolley Trail.

Be aware of muggles, as they are seen often along this trail. Also, there appears to be a local member of the "Trolley Trail Police" nearby who wants to know why people are coming down the dead end road to the trail. Just tell him you're checking out the trees and bushes along the public Trolley Trail.

We know THEY are up to the Challenge... are YOU?"
