Micro cache in quaint little park in Jessup
This is a fairly simple micro cache located in a cute little park in Jessup. The cache contains only a log sheet so you'll need to make sure to bring a writing utensil.
This park has quite a few memorable days throughout the year including Santa's Arrival on the train for Christmas, the Wine Festival in the Spring, and this is also the turnaround point for La Corsa dei Ceri (Race of the Saints) before the runners begin their climb back up Church St. on St. Ubaldo Day. Once the warmer months arrive, stop and take a look at the fountain that has just been added which is a replica from the town that originated St. Ubaldo Day, Gubbio, Italy. Unfortunately, to protect the fountain it's covered up in the winter months. This park can also provide a nice bit of education about a few different types of trees with some nice descriptions on a few trees in the park.
