Geocache Description:

GW2 – Westerham is a series of caches on a circular walk of around 5 ½ miles from the town centre to Chartwell – the National Trust’s most visited property and back, using parts of the Greensand Way.

The caches are a variety of containers – all except two are large enough for pens, which they contained at the outset as well as small swaps and trackables.

Each is named after one of our favourites from Sir Winston Churchill’s extensive collection of quotations – hope you enjoy them and the walk.

Progress: “Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever lengthening, ever ascending, ever improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging only adds to the joy and the glory of the climb”

You are quite near one of the Edenbridge to Crockham Hill caches at this point - a great walk that if you are feeling really fit - you could add on to this one :-)
