On route to the beach, you will come across two old wells, the larger one being the Old Dutch Well, which still works perfectly and fills up nicely after a spell of rain. Unfortunately, as it is often the case here in Malaysia, this piece of history is no longer maintained and left to decay. Once on the beach, you will find Tanjung Tuan's mangrove site on your left, and a shrine celebrating local folklore in the form of the mythical Footprint of Hang Tuah on your right. There is an EarthCache on each location.
