Geocache Description:

Cache is NOT at posted coordinates - but they will work well for parking.

Welcome to the PMC Lite!!!

This series was created in response to the many people who wanted a puzzle series, but did not want anything as difficult as the Puzzle Masters Challenge.

This series is meant to be fun and get those cachers, who are not normally interested in puzzle caches, to try their hand at them and realize that they are not as bad as they seem.

It is meant to be fun and entertaining and take you many places in the Mid-Atlantic region.

The caches in this series will all be released sporadically between now and the PMC puzzle event in June.

So have fun, begin to find these caches and collect the clues in each cache you find. They will eventually lead you to the final.

If you would like a list of all the caches in all the PMC series, you can find it here. It is a work in progress, but will contain all the caches and their creators as they are released.
Hope you have fun and thanks for visiting!!!!

As a kid growing up, I was always intrigued by the possibility that secrets could be hidden on vinyl records just by playing them backwards. I kept trying to determine if the key was the rotational speed, or perhaps the linear speed at each diameter of the album. Perhaps that's why I enjoy puzzle caches now. The sound quality on DVD's is certainly better, but young kids today will know nothing about the "conspiracy" alleging that Paul McCartney died in 1966 and was replaced by a look-alike and sound-alike.

And now for the cache...

Welcome to the Butler Road Natural Area. The Butler Road Natural Area is part of the Ten Mile Run Greenway. Area rules as well as a trail map are available here. The walk out to the cache will take you through a mature wooded area, past a small stream, and through a young stand of cedars. Some parts of the trail come close to private property, so please heed the no trespassing signs. The cache is an AMMO CAN hidden less than 100' off the trail.

To find the cache, decipher the following:

SETUN IMENO RUOFN EVEST NIOPR UOFYT RIHTS EERGE DRUOF
YTNEV ESTSE WSETU NIMXI SNEVE SENIN TNIOP XISYT NEWTS
EERGE DYTRO FHTRO NOTLL ORTSE HCACE HTDNI FOTRE DRONI

Good Luck! AND DON'T FORGET TO RECORD THE CLUE!

UPDATE: The Letterbox that used to be here was kindly moved by HikerGuyEd. Please visit the updated LetterBox listing of Ed's 50th if you are still interested in finding the letterbox. NOTE: Apparently there is a Letterbox within spitting distance of the cache. The cache is an AMMO CAN with a green Geocaching.com sticker clearly labeling it as a geocache. If you find the Letterbox first, sign in, then find the cache to grab the PMC Lite clue. If you find the cache first, take a moment to find the nearby Letterbox and sign in.
