Geocache Description:

They say that a man's home is his castle.

Here you'll find the ruins of a number of houses that were built in the 1930's and now have been reclaimed by the bush.

NUMBER 5 IN THE WORONORA RIVER SERIES.

There are 3 ways to get to this - via the fire trail from Barden Ridge or the fire trail at the end Woronora Road in Engadine.

The third way is probably easiest and that's to do it by boat but it's about as far as you can navigate upstream. Because it's a bit difficult to land the boat right near the cache, I'd suggest doing Salinity Now! first, then follow the fire trail that you'll find above the cache. This peters out and there is a rough track where you'll pass the remains of a number of old houses.

*** CAUTION ***
If you do come by boat be very careful of submerged rocks - especially at low tide.

For your effort you will be rewarded with not one, but FIVE caches that are part of the Woronora River series. The other four are:

- Breakdown and Makeup (contains the co-ords for the Deepwater and Shackels caches)
- Deepwater Estate (contains half the co-ords for Breakdown and Makeup)
- Shackels Estate (contains the other half of the co-ords for Breakdown and Makeup)

- Salinity Now!
