Bunny Trail #5 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

PatrickInChicago: I live nearby, but I'm mostly inactive and don't feel like continuing to maintain this, especially with the negative comments and wild exaggerations about the area. Not everyone lives in Glenview or Hinsdale. Anyway, deleted my earlier frustrated snarkiness, but still archiving this one. It's time has come, and my time listening to complaining logs and emails has passed.

Geocache Description:

There once was a rabbit named snoopy
Whose ears hung down low and quite droopy
When Peter did cry
She kicked her feet high
For she's an Easter Bunny groupie

Our rabbit, a grey mini-lop named Snoopy, is quite the fan of the Easter Bunny. So much so, in fact, that when he gave the call for additional help this year, she was quite insistent on volunteering. As it turns our, Snoopy is quite creative, at least for a rabbit. Rather than hiding Easter eggs for only the children from a handful of families, she decided that she could reach more children through her efforts by setting up this geocaching series. That way anyone would be free to enjoy this Easter egg hunt… kids and kids-at-heart alike!

The Bunny Trail series is being placed and published the week prior to Easter 2010. The twelve containers are all identical, except for color, with only a log in each. As they are not camouflaged, please re-hide each as well as you can to keep the series active for the next group. All will require stealth.

This stretch along North Avenue, through Elmhurst, Villa Park and Lombard, is my home territory, and has been woefully barren of PNGs. It ranges from upscale through semi-industrial and back, and is appropriate for children and families. Please keep an eye on your children, however, as the traffic along North Avenue can be very busy.

Have fun, and happy hunting!
