Sometimes I make this my route to work .A beautiful valley,If you have time you must walk either to Minster Church a wonderful spot or further to St Juliots Church also known as Hardy Church's where Thomas Hardy fell in love with Miss Emma Gifford and eventualy married .This area made great impressions on him and his earliest romances A Pair of Blue Eyes is set in this part of Cornwall. Memorial Tablets are also to be found here.
Now back to the valley in her refections Emma wrote of times spent together here Hardy also wrote Under the waterfall and Best times. The cache has a few swaps mind your footings could be slippery A big Thankyou to the National Trust for keeping this valley as it is and also for their kind permission to place this cache here .The National Trust supports and reconises Geocachers as the vast majority respect the countryside, a pot of the girls amber nectar for tftf Best wishes Nangurt honeymonster
