Underground Railroad Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sapience Trek: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This should be an easy cache and dash but enjoy the area!

NO NEED TO GO INTO THE WOODED AREA TO FIND MY CACHE! IT IS NOT THE RED BOX THAT SOME HAVE FOUND!

I love the history in our area! AS I was driving to work one day I spotted this little piece of history.

Along State Rte 14 near the Rte 14A overpass is a state education land mark that said Underground Railroad. I managed to pass by this a few more times before I finally stopped to read it. When I did spot it I said to myself I need to put a cache near this spot. Today was the day I stopped and placed the cache.

At this spot Luther Cleavland and his wife sheltered fugitive slaves that were on their way to Canada.
