Geocache Description:

Not a quick cache and dash

THIS IS A NIGHT CACHE, that means it should be attempted in the DARK and you'll need a TORCH.
The above coordinates give a waypoint to find possible parking you cannot park there, the cache is not there, does not give a clue or anything else in particular! See below for parking.
dark forest
From parking head toward the direction of the other parking. There is only one reflector to find and this marks the location of the cache.

This is the first of a series of caches that can be attempted together but you will have to find each one in series as a clue may be included in the previous cache. Obviously as this is the first the clue is in the title.

Markers may be few and far between as you search for the caches – you are in the middle of nowhere just following your nose, in the dark with very little help available... Good init!

You should hold your torch or flash-light at eye level so that you get the maximum “back flash” from the reflectors. If you hold your flashlight too low, you will not benefit from the reflection coming back at you, or the reflectors will appear dim and you may miss them entirely. Remember to look all around if you come to the end turn around and have another look. (This will depend on where you park.)

You will be walking on existing good paths and tracks I have tried to keep the reflectors easy to find just stay on the obvious path.

Remember to shine the torch all around you. Remember to bring equipment with you - this includes a mobile phone, Good Shoes or boots as it may be a little muddy. Spare batteries for GPS and torch, above all - HAVE FUN!!
Please note:
You will not need to go to any of the coordinates, the cache(s) is nowhere near.

Read each webpage – there are clues or info on each one, also note that the terrain and difficulty increase on number 5 and again on number 6. Also note that the attributes may change. These caches are meant to be done as a circular walk, see cache 6 for details.

Keep a look out for a code on each log book you'll need this for the bonus.

Cache 1 = First or Last? - this one = The code is above your head, not on the logbook = A B
Cache 1 = First or Last?
Cache 2 = Dark Path, Stile.
Cache 3 = Dark Path 2
Cache 4 = Dark Path, Tube
Cache 5 = Over the first before the second.
Cache 6 = The Dark Wood.
Cache 7 = Bonus

Boots  or good shoes may be required and it may be muddy underfoot in wet conditions especially after completing number 6.

As always, you can email me before doing this series if you want any info. I have been know to answer emails from cachers while searching - but don't rely on this; contact me before you go.

Parking - There is ample parking at both the suggested locations for at least 5 cars. From the waypoint pass the carpark on the right and head up the lane . You can park either side of the bridge.

1. N51 34.111 W3 25.371 *Do not park on the bridge

DONOT PARK ON THE (A4119 ) MAIN ROAD. The cache cannot be found or accessed from the main road and it is a very busy road with high speed traffic.

Alternative Parking

2. N51 33.519 W3 24.832 This is the obvious parking place but not necessarily the best place to start, but the best place to finish...

Lets go caching
You are looking far a small water tight container larger than a film pot.
Original contents including logbook, but no pencil.

Please replace carefully so that it stays hidden.
