If you are starting the series from this point and after finding or not finding this cache, walk down Northbrook Rd (do not take the Bridal Path Staircase Lane to your right) As the road bends to the left and you will see a new style Kissing Gate to your right. Go through and follow the footpath around the field (hedges to your right) to Duke.
This is the eleventh in the Thomas the Tank Engine series.
When replacing this cache would you make sure the opening part points down please.
Duck is a cheerful, busy tank engine. He'll stand no nonsense whatever from the larger engines who try to order him about. Duck's real name is Montague. He received his nickname because they say he "waddles" down the tracks.
The series comprises of 11 traditional caches and 1 Bonus cache on a circular walk of 5 miles along well marked public footpaths and roads around the Allesley, Coundon & Brownshill Green areas of Coventry.
The clues for the bonus cache are located on the back of the log books in SOME of the series. All caches are located within 20 feet of Public footpaths. Suggested start and finish for the series is in the car park at N 52° 26.493 W 001° 33.116
Some of the caches intersect the Peppa Pig Trail (visit link) and the George Pig Trail (visit link) Both excellent series!
