The last in the "Tour of Ayrshire" cache series,that takes you to
the four compass points of Ayrshire. You will need these four
caches to get the co-ordinates for the final cache in this series.
The final location has a cache box that was handed to GCAyrshire at
the Mega Scotland event 2010, for the highland games tug o war,
which we won without pulling a rope, the only other team did not
show.
To complete this series "A tour of Ayrshire". You will firstly need
to locate the 4 compass point caches, these are as follows:
NORTH - GC2GTBV
SOUTH - GC2GT9E
EAST - GC2GTBH
WEST - GC2GTBY
THE FINAL CACHE
= N 55* south . east W004* north . west
At each cache there is a secret code on the log book e.g
NORTH=89.
This code will be placed into the formular above to help you gain
the coordinates.
Due to tree cover your GPS may play up, so if you find your self at
a bench the cache is exactly 107 feet away.
Also the first number in each code e.g North=89=8 these 4 digits should be placed in the compass order
from north to create a code to unlock the cache when you have found
it. Only 3 points will be needed for the code. It will not be an
OLD set of cords.
The final cache in this series has been placed at an area that has
360 degree views of Ayrshire and beyond, it can be accessed
throughout the yea,r giving different views of Ayrshire through the
four seasons. Good luck to you all and we hope you enjoy the five
walks as much as the JAGGIE CLAN had in setting this series.
