Geocache Description:

A nice excuse for a walk or ride next to Terrys Creek in Epping

This cache is named after the two parks it's in / near - Lucknow and Somerset. The cache is next to the the trail along Terry's Creek, a great little stroll or ride in the middle of Sydney. If you have an MTB its a lovely singletrack between the trees, but can be a bit narrow and slippery in places.

There's also a waterfall up the Eastwood end - see photos.

The best way to make the most of the cache is to do the full creek walk (2-3km); you can start at either Crimea Rd north of Epping Rd or Davis Ave / Essex St. You can also enter from Dence Park.

You can also park & grab, less than 1km round trip, from where Terrys Ck goes under Epping Rd or Crimea Rd. If you start from Crimea, take the track on the north side of the little creek ("Somerset St"), not the lawn track, to avoid a bush bash.

Coordinates have been averaged over four samples using a GPSMap 62, so should be pretty close.

There a few goodies for the FTF to choose from including a book, batteries, CD etc.
