The series comprises 10 traditional caches on a circular route with a bonus cache to find at the end. Additionally, the only traditional cache of the original Mamma Mia series, GC1JJB5, remains in place and, if you haven't already visited it you could continue on to that. The series is very simple with straight forward easy finds. 3.5 to 4 miles (taking in GC1JJB5) and should take around two hours to complete - depending on how fast you walk and how muddy it is!

Ingatestone Hall series
Since setting Mamma Mia I have had another loop, Ingatestone Hall, published which can be added onto this one. My only caution is that you could end up with a long stretch of road walking as IH8, 9 and 10 are roadside as are MM 5, 6 and 7. I therefore recommend that if you intend to link the two loops to make 1 walk you start the Mama Mia series with MM5 (parking at the second waypoint given for this series below) and end it with MM4 before starting the Ingatestone Hall loop. This will break up the amount of road walking you do in one stretch. Before starting please look at Ingatestone Hall 1:- GC35YRE
