Dendrobium Mine is an underground mine which commenced contruction in 2002 and is a subsidiary of BHP Billiton. The mine operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. From GZ, there are spectacular views down to the mine, however, all the recent rain has created a lot of the flora to become overgrown.
It's a nice walk in from O'Brien's Road Figtree along the firetrail, alternate route is via Harry Graham Drive.
