The ‘Dot To
Dot’ Series
This series will take you on walk along the Adur River and up across the South Downs. It is a
circular walk of approximately 8.5miles and consists of 48
caches.
There are other several traditional caches along the route
including, the Southdown’s Way Jolly Up No18
(GC1AF7W); Flour Bomb Bridge(GC1CGER);
Shoreham Toll Bridge(GC1GDNH);
Duck!(GC1VYR0);
Welcome to Lancing
College(GC1Y5KM);
North Lancing(GC17X8R);
Lancing Clump(GC17HYX)
and Squirrel Cache(GC175QX)
Most of the caches have been places within a few feet of the paths.
Depending on the time of year you may require gloves for the
nettles and/or boots for the mud! Dogs are allowed but please
be aware of the livestock! Please take care as part of the
series takes you along a country lane, the Downs Link runs very
close to the busy A283 and you need to cross the A27 dual
carriageway!
Suggested free parking is close to No1 at N50 52.058 W000 20.719.
For those who fancy a bite to eat half way round I have listed a
waypoint where a couple of pubs are located. I have also listed
some additional free parking waypoints.
Please bring your own pen and take care in returning caches to
their hiding places.
