This small cemetery dates back to 1837. It features one large tomb.
The cache is located outside the cemetery itself, so opening the (old, fragile) gate isn't required. Please be RESPECTFUL of the cemetery and the neighborhood. (If you do go inside, however, read the delightful names on the tomb doors.) See a full history of the cemetery at the Rhode Island Historical Cemeteries web site.
I am not sure whether or not parking on the shoulder of the road is allowed; it's just over the crest of a hill, however, so consider borrowing a space in the lot across the street. This cache is not marked as wheelchair-accessible because of the lack of a sidewalk; a stroller might be OK. And please note that the metal electrical panel on the pole located on the south side of the road is NOT this cache: touching electrical equipment can be dangerous and I will not place a cache container on or near utility gear.
This cache would be a great combination with Sneech Pond, and maybe Nate Whipple Cache and The new NoMad64 cache.
And bring your own pen, as this tiny nano only has room for a log.
