.A series of caches designed to highlight the discontinued railway line that ran from Wangaratta to Whitfield and return. All the caches are placed near the original sidings and stops and in all cases are easily accessed from the road. Care should be taken when crossing the road and parking as this is a relatively busy country road.

Targoora pronounced "Tar-goo-ruh".
This station consisted of a nameboard alongside the line and was situated just 2 miles and 54 chain from Wangaratta. It is interesting that a number of original concrete mile posts still exist along the road and some are adjacent to the rail stop sign boards. 14/3/1899 Opened as Whitfield line stopping Place No. 1. 9/5/1904 Renamed Clarke. 1/8/1904 Renamed Targoora.
