Splash for the Cache... Multi-Cache
SMacB: A shame, this is a lovely area in summer, and was supposed to be a fun cache to do. A shame no-one has bothered coming out this way for over two years.
Also disappointed with those who decided to dismantle the cache rather than get the log out as designed.... but good on those who stuck to the script...

A multi cache with a difference.
Designed as part of a circuit starting from Boscastle car park and incorporating part of Thomas Hardy's & Miss Emma Gifford's favourite walk, then through Lesnewth and back via Minster Church. Give yourself about 4 hours to complete the circuit.
You can of course do these as individual caches if you wish, or complete them in any order, but any directions given are assuming you are following the trail as designed.
If you are very quiet and careful, as you approach along the footpath, you may see some deer by the river.
Here you will come to the site of Tregrylls Cross - A Latin Wayside Cross, discovered in 1988 burried head down in the ground. There is evidence that it had once been used as a gatepost having leaded holes and an iron gate hanging.
Stand on the bridge and look around - it should be quite obvious
It is possible that you may get wet. You WILL get prickled - wear long sleves.
It is tough as a solo effort.
Please replace everything when done. Thanks.
