Another one in a short linear run of tedious film pots (and one clip box) at close intervals linking Brocks Hill to Mere Lane Bridleway.
I thought I'd give my brain a rest with these after setting puzzle caches , but I just can't help it - some of these caches have number/letter information in the lid which you may want to note for future use.
This cache is a 35mm film pot with tape camo.
I was sorry to hear that "Teddys first" , a cache near here (and one of the first I found) had been repeatedly muggled and consequently archived . With the kind agreement of the CO SaintSteven I am placing this cache in the general area , please rehide it stealthily to avoid it suffering the same fate !
GZ is near to the spot where you can leave the park to visit the rest of the f-number trail.
Tree cover here is heavy so the description is comprehensive , a good satellite signal is unlikely.
Look a few yards to the NW side of where the paths cross . The cache is at a tree with a low "Y" next to the ditch . Some ivy is involved , sorry , but the tree is not hawthorn , so it could be worse.
To get to cache f1.8 cross the bridge and walk along the permissive path on the right hand field margin by the chain link fence . A pleasant 250m walk in dry weather , an appalling quagmire in the wet !
