The listed co-ordinates are BOGUS!!! Near there you will find the North Head Water Pollution Control Plant, but NO CACHE!
This cache is placed at North Head. A good place to park is near the former Visitor Centre - near the Gatehouse (currently home to the Farmhouse Montessori primary school), because parking there is free. To get there, drive up Darley Road past Manly Hospital and through the Parkhill Arch. Continue driving a short distance and turn left at Gunner Road.
The Farmhouse Montessori established the small primary school in the Gatehouse of the old School of Artillery a few years after the cache was hidden. The cache is about 15m from the gate, so this should not pose a problem. If a person is concerned, they can avoid the drop off and pick up times. It appears that the school's hours are 8:45-3pm, with before school care offered from 7-9am and after school care from 3-6pm.

In the Historical Overview section of the Visitor Guide, the first date is ABCD. There are EF words explaining what happened on this date.
The year that the school of Artillery was established was HIJK.

To get to the second stage of this cache, look North-west and walk to where you would go if there was a fire.
To get to the geozone, walk approximately 22 metres (or 22 adult steps) west of the second stage location.
The cache is a fairly small container with a logsheet. There's room for a small pencil, but there likely isn't one. There is not any room for swaps.
