Geocache Description:

This little able hide is by what every able seaman looked for on their way home. The waves won't splash this one but heavy rain may beat it.

The location is near the former mouth of Tarradarrapin Creek into Waterloo Bay. In 1980's the area was developed into what now is known as Aquatic Paradise, with a number of channels and waterfront properties built. You can see the creek tamed some 250 m to West. By taking the backroad, you can enjoy a view to the channels.

The cache is located by a landmark, important to all sea-farers. Take a moment to think how much difference modern development has made to the area, which used to live off fishing and agriculture, namely fruits, berries (especially strawberries), and poultry.

If the heavy rain beats you, there's a shelter 40 m NE from you.
Bring your own pen.

Please note: I do periodically compare the log sheet in the cache against online logs. If an online log doesn't match the log sheet, an attempt to contact the finder through geocaching.com will be made to confirm the find. If the finder has not validated his/her account and cannot be contacted, the online log may be deleted. This is done to have only the genuine finds claim it. Please see support.groundspeak.com > Finding a Geocache for applicable guidelines.
