La cache se trouve à peu près au km 50,1 du sentier Bras-du-Nord, près de la rivière Bras-du-Nord. Entre les km 49 et 51,5 environ, le Sentier est collé sur la rivière avec peu de dénivelé – c'est sûrement la partie la plus facile du Sentier. La rivière Bras-du-Nord est un affluent de la rivière Sainte-Anne et se rejoint à celle-ci en aval de Saint-Raymond. Longue de quelques 60-70 km et d'un débit assez modeste (5-20 m3/s en temps normal, 70 m3/s pendant les crues normales du printemps), cette rivière est un paradis pour les pêcheurs et les canoéistes. The cache is located along the Bras-du-Nord trail at about km 50.1, close to the Bras-du-Nord River. Between km 49 and 51.5 approximately, the Trail follows the river quite closely and is relatively flat – this is certainly the easiest section of the Trail! The Bras-du-Nord River is a tributary of the Sainte-Anne River (i.e. bras-du-nord = north arm) and joins up with the Sainte-Anne below Saint-Raymond. Having a length of some 60-70 km and a modest flow rate (5-20 m3/s at normal times, 70 m3/s during a normal spring thaw), this river is a paradise for fishermen and canoeists alike.
